JESSIE

My love for working dogs and all things dog training began when I got my first proper working breed. Although I had been involved in the pet industry for a few years prior, I met my match when I brought home Luca at eight weeks old. An Australian cattle dog dead set on humbling me to my core, and boy, did he humble me. Together, we worked through almost every issue in the book; he has taught me how to better myself as a trainer and given me the experience to relate to my clients sincerely. I know the frustration of living with a problematic dog because I have been there! Luca is now one of our top "employees" and often accompanies us to outings and lessons to aid in any way he can while modeling his best behavior.
(don't let him fool you; he still swipes a sandwich off the counter now and then)

My specialty and first love is working with young dogs and puppies. I love watching them problem-solve and learn about the world around them. It is incredibly rewarding to be the person who shapes that puppy's outlook on life. Keeping in touch with the families we work with and seeing that puppy we worked with at four, six, eight months old, and so on reach three, four, five years of age and thrive is an experience unlike any other.

If I'm not working with clients or my personal dogs, you can find me in our home library! My second love and hobby outside of dogs is anything and everything: books. I read around 100 books a year, anything fiction, fantasy, young adult, romance, or mythology, and I'm in!

I joined Red Wolf Canine in 2022 after deciding to leave the Automotive industry. I enjoyed working for Ford, but nothing beats investing in yourself and building something from the ground up. While I have always loved dogs and grew up with three huskies running wild through our home, I can confidently say I never envisioned owning and working at a dog training company. Yet, it is the best thing I have ever done. Jumping into an industry that I knew nothing about was intimidating. Although dog training is not my passion, Red Wolf Canine, our clients, and everything we do quickly turned into it. I love being able to help families in a way that they likely didn't know was possible. Seeing their reaction to their dog coming home capable of new skills that will allow them to be a part of their life in a way they were not before is very rewarding. I love seeing the dogs we work with in training come back over the years and getting to know their owners. The dogs that stay here truly become a part of our family.

My top priority is to provide a clean, safe, and cozy environment that feels like home for your dog. I enjoy getting our training dogs involved in our everyday tasks and utilizing their training in a realistic way to what they will experience when they go home.

Outside of working hours, you can find me in the garage. I'm always working on a few projects, but my 1994 F-150 is my main work in progress.
